Pain Care Yoga Classes

Using a safe, mindful and gentle approach you’ll learn practices that will help to decrease your pain and move with more ease in your daily life.

Two options are available, either Tuesday or Thursday morning:

TUESDAYS
For new students:
8:45am to 9:45am (six sessions) $105 
September 17 to October 29 (no class week of Oct 8th)

For returning students:
10:00am to 11:00am (six sessions) $105 
September 17 to October 29 (no class week of Oct 8th)

(OR)

THURSDAYS
For new students:
10am to 11am (six sessions) $105
September 19 to October 31 (no class week of Oct 8th) 

LocationSt Andrews Presbyterian Church (basement),  2 Mulkins Street,                              Stittsville, ON

Attention will be drawn to  the breath, muscular tension and how to move with a feeling of safety, knowing that you’ll ‘be okay tomorrow’.

You’ll learn about awareness (interoception – the perception of our physiological state or experience of the state of our body) and what that means, what it might tell you and tools to build it into your everyday life and routine. 

You’ll also learn what evidence tells us about pain and how the integration of this knowledge along with movement, is one of the best ways to bring about change. Long-term, long-lasting change.
